Awards

2018  0fficial selected of "Cinema Women Makers” Biennial Edition.

2007  "The Fairies Circus" – An independent production that earned the acknowledgement of the national Sal Tarbut [National Culture Box].

1997  “The Story of Tangelan” – Winner of the "Original Show" prize at the Acre Festival.

1993  Represented Israel, at the recommendation of Ohad Naharin, at the American Dance Festival. Created a special piece for the festival which garnered praise from the renowned dance critic Anna Kisselgoff leading to an invitation, a year later, to create a new work for the festival.

1990  Winner of the Shades in Dance prize for "On the Tips of Hard Heels" in the Theatre in Movement category performed as part of the festival at the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre and followed by over 80 performances throughout Israel as part of Omanut La’Am [Art for the People] and Sal Tarbut [National Culture Box].

1989  Recipient of the Jerusalem Foundation prize for “Promoting Creativity”. The judges, in their reasoning, commended "the search for direction and personal language in the medium of the dance theatre, leading to the formulation of a clear artistic line”.

Performances
2018  NYC fringe festival – written choreographed & preformed – the show ANTS.

2014  A video art cfrinfeollaboration with the artist Belle Shafir.

2003  "Elephants Do not Do Ballet" at the Orna Porat Theatre. Over 300 performances across the country and was chosen to represent Israel in Japan’s Children Theatre Festival.

1995  Created “Winter” for the “Curtain Up” festival at the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theater, which then followed by an invitation to perform at the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina.

1994  Created “Aprakdan” [On the Back] for the Bat-Sheva Ensemble, performed at the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theater.

1993  Created “Poppins”, a 25-minute long piece as part of “Recital”, an evening of dance by Sally Anne Friedlander, for four choreographers.

1992  Guest dancer with the Inbal Dance Theatre performing in “Mussia”, choreographed by Sara Levi-Tanai.

1991  Children’s show “One Out Of Three” - over 50 performances throughout Israel as part of Sal Tarbut [National Culture Box].

Education

Graduated from the Devon School of Movement, England  //  Studied at the Findhorn Foundation Festival of Sacred Dance, Scotland  //  School of Visual Theater Jerusalem.

Margalit Shaltiel // Margalit Peri Shaaltiel, born & raised in Kibbutz Mizra, is a mover, performer, choreographer & a dance teacher over 30 years. Graduate with a B.A. from Empire State College, NY. In NYC she danced & performed as freelancer. In Israel & in Germany

Miki Bash // Danced a t Bat Sheva 2 dance company, Voice and Silence, speaking bodies,and the band Bridget Farage. Projects combined with clowning and Movement Theater. He has been working as a medical clown for 16 years. He also works in a mental health facility, and develops a team. Dealing with people in violent situations, using clowning. A tragic clown in an ant show.

Ora Mirsky // A performer and a teacher. Participated in various fringe productions: Mealtrim Improvisation group, Hagigit by Yael Kramsky , Dream girl by Suzanne Hamlin and more. Specializes in teaching choreography and dance theory. B.A. in Dance from the University of Paris 8, B.A. in Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Yael Caspi Blatch // Dancer in the Israeli Opera and other modern companies.

Actress in the Israeli national theater “Habima”, the Israeli theater “Hakameri”, Different children's educational theater and Street and physical theater in Israel and festivals in Europe and NYC fringe festival.
